1. What is your most prized material possession?
My record collection, but if you had to narrow it down to just one single item it would be my Germs – Lexicon Devil 7″. I bought that for myself as a birthday present when I was 21 years old. I had wanted that record for 6 years and only then did I find someone selling a copy in the MRR classifieds. It was luck or fate that had me actually get a letter to the guy first (this was long before the internet was commonplace mind you), after which the guy wrote me and said he wished he had 6 more of them as he got a bunch of letters for it.
2. What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest?
Geez, that is a tough one. I have a Darth Vader lite switch that I have had since I was a small boy, and it is still in perfect condition and actually on one of my liteswitches in the house.
3. Are you a packrat?
I am to a degree yeah. I save tons of stuff, but I am not as bad as some people I have known.
4. Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum?
I try to keep it as clean as possible but there always ends up being clutter. My friends joke that my house is like a museum anyway. A punk rock museum.
5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
Not really much in the way of themes. The living room is where the punk vault is housed (which spills into the dining room now) and the big tv and theatre sound, it is my favorite, and most used room in the house. The guest room is like the video game museum as in it are 2 tv’s with all the old game systems hooked up and the closet is where all the games are for them. The basement is an arcade, complete with 18 pinball machines and about 10 video games.
