Time Magazine recently posted an article about how vinyl has been making a comeback. I never really thought it went away as I never once stopped preferring it over those silver coasters that took over the music industry. Anyway it’s a pretty interesting little article that you can check out here.

I picked up Time at work the other day (I work at an entertainment store) and saw that and I nearly rolled out of my chair. I’m really hoping that the surge of popularity that vinyl is gaining will push some rare LPs back into reissue (Wire’s Pink Flag, anyone?). A few of my vinyl-fiend friends are gagging on the taste of mainstream recognition but I’m actually curious to see what the future is going to bring.
