This Saturday is national Record Store Day. This is a yearly event were independent music stores celebrate their existence and try and get people off the internet to come to a real record store to purchase some music. Lots of labels are releasing special limited edition releases in honor of the event and many bands are doing special in-store performances.
I have a laundry list of releases I plan on going out and picking up that day and am looking forward to it. If you’ve been in the mood to buy yourself some new music lately, make a trip to your local record store on Saturday as there will be lots to choose from, much of it on sale!
