Midwestern punk rock legend Tesco Vee is bringing his Hate Police back to town this Saturday. Tesco is out on the road in celebration of the newly released book compiling every issue of his legendary Touch and Go fanzine (that he did along with partner in crime Dave Stimson).
Tesco Vee’s Hate Police will be joined by Fester and White Flag who I believe will be playing Chicago for the first time in their nearly three decade career! I will absolutely be there as I’m not about to miss the chance to see a bunch of punk rock icons sharing the same stage so close to home. The show is at the Abbey Pub which is a pretty nice venue and the doors are at 8pm. According to the club’s website, the first 50 people in the door will receive a free Meatmen DVD!
