I actually found out about this from my sisters neighbor. Joe Strummer died. For those that don’t know, he was in The Clash – one of the pioneers of punk rock. While I actually was not a huge fan of the band, they indirectly had a huge impact on my life and it is always a sad day when someone from the punk scene dies. We have lost too many of them lately. So to Joe’s friends and family, my condolences, and I hope he is in a better place, playing on stage at the big punk show in the sky if such a thing exists.
