Happy? Fourth

Ah, the fourth of July, what was one of my favorite days in my youth now just feels like any other day except I don’t have to go to work today. I have nothing to do so that makes it all the more uneventful. Hopefully I will be able to hook up with some friends and go see the fireworks tonite in DG.

FINALLY finished all the scanning for the GI discography. Now I just have to clean up the images, downsize them and crack open the book and learn frames so I can assemble it all and have it hopefully looking nice.

Finished reading “We Got the Neutron Bomb: The untold story of LA punk”. It was really good and in fact, I wish it was longer. I can’t get enough of those books that document the punk rock scene in the early days. Someday I would like to write a big book of punk records, sort of a coffee table type deal that would be the definitive referece book for all the old punk vinyl. Anyone want to work on it with me? I don’t profess to know it all, but I do know some.

Time for lunch and then I suppose the afternoon will be spent with Photoshop and ImageReady.
