Friday Five

1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why?

Graphic Arts and Screen Printing. I liked it because it was fun, and I could make stuff for my fanzine that also counted as class projects. I wonder if there are still S.C. stickers on the inside of any lockers there, those things woudn’t ever come off no matter how hard one tried. Radio would be a close second.

2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why?

Hmm, I had three actually. Mr. Eipers who was the graphic arts teacher, Mr. Moore the radio teacher (my other favorite class in school), and Miss Danhelka who was the art teacher (she was good looking too, definite T.I.L.F.).

3. What is your favorite memory of school?

There are a few. My radio show. When I was going out with Julie Sinnott and seeing her between classes. Hanging out with my friends at Chris Holmes’ locker (that 3 of us shared) between classes. Mooching money at lunch from girls because I was always still hungry after eating my first lunch. Sitting next to Carol in history class (where we both failed a semester and had to take it in summer school).

4. What was your favorite recess game?

I remember when we were kids playing the non-pc titled game, “smear the queer” (and no, it was not beating up a homosexual). Tetherball I guess was fun too, I don’t remember that far back to well.

5. What did you hate most about school?

Waking up early to get there, riding the bus, having to be there everyday when I’d rather be hanging out with my friends and skateboarding, gym class (except for bowling), the assholes that used to make fun of me for being different.
