It has been awhile since we’ve seen some new colored vinyl action from Frontier Records. Some distributor problems and the summer saw a vinyl drought from one of the longest running and finest punk labels from the west (best) coast. That drought has finally ended with a new color vinyl pressing of an Adolescents LP, and this time it isn’t the “Blue Album”, nor is the record on blue vinyl.
This time out, The Complete Demos LP gets a new colored vinyl makeover just in time for the changing of the clocks and seasons. You can now get this fine collection of early Adolescents demos on translucent purple vinyl. This grape candy colored disc comes in a standard color jacket and contains a nice two-sided insert with photos, lyrics, and liner notes. The music is as mandatory as always and a must for any Adolescents fan or any fan of early punk rock.
This limited edition gem should be available at your better record stores but if you can’t find one or you are one of those agoraphobic types who don’t like to leave the house you can order one directly from the Frontier Records website where you will get speedy service and super fair prices.
