My good deed of the day

Dear readers, if the 3-4 of you who are in the Chicago area and are looking for something to do, and have that something to do also be for a good cause, please check this out and attend, you’ll be helping Dina’s family out quite a bit:

OCTOBER 6, 2002
115 Bourbon Street located ~~~> 3359 W. 115th St., in Merriontte Pk.

Nicole Damato, 29, a St. John Parishioner, died suddenly this past December 1, 2001, leaving behind two little boys, Vinnie Dominic (8) and Jesse Angelo (6). Nicole was a cancer survivor, having battled it after the birth of her first son, (1994) and going into remission after her second child was born, (1996). Then in June of 1999 Nicole was on a trip to downstate Illinois, where she was put in the hospital for four months after being mauled by a black bear.

A devout mother and churchgoer, Nicole was thoughtful and selfless, and looked out for everyone. She enjoyed everything there was to life, and she made sure to provide her boys with all her love, life and laughter.

Monies are being raised for the immediate and future expenses of her children, the newly founded, Nicole Damato St. John Fisher Scholarship Fund, and a portion is being donated to the Illinois Chapter of the Liver Association.

Your generosity is deeply appreciated whether you are there are not. Donations of anything, cards for the kids, monies, free stuff to giveaway at the event can be sent to:
