As much as it pains me to say it, and as much as I don’t like to condone such bands when they are the “next big thing”, the song “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” from The White Stripes is fucking great. It is simple, and sad and who better to relate to such stuff than me?! I have listened to this song probably 20 times already today.
