Friday afternoon I got a call from the printer saying I fucked up the record sleeve layout and it is not 2-color, it is 4. So I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I did wrong. Thanks to some help from AMK at work, I was able to do it properly, and fixed it up on saturday and gave it back to the printer so he could get it done. Whew! Thor came by and gave me a few reall helpful photoshop tips that saved me shitloads of time for another project I was working on so I bought him Mr. Sub when we were hanging out for the help. I hadn’t eaten there in years and it was mighty fine. Potbells it ain’t, but still a good meal. We watched a double feature of movies and played some pinball. I scored a 12 Billion on my Star Trek: TNG which is by far my best game ever (my previous high was 9.8B and the elusive 10B mark was finally accomplished and then some for me!). I felt pretty good after that game let me tell you.
Today I spoke to Doug Moody of the infamous Mystic Records on the phone for about an hour. He was a really nice guy and has a lot of interesting stories to tell. I am going to be doing a huge interview with him in the very near future so that will be up on the Spontaneous site whenever it is done. He is reissuing some of the back catalog and I offered to lend a hand in the way of booklet layouts, etc. It sounded like he was going to take me up on it. Had I lived near Hollywood, I could have come down and met him in person and done the interview right then and there. Dammit, when are they going to perfect the beaming technology like on Star Trek?!
